When a person is homosexual it means that they prefer to have a relationship with a member of their own gender. Such persons are usually called “gay”.

For example, a male will feel comfortable having a relationship with another male or a female will feel comfortable having a relationship with another female. Some people have relationships with both males and females.

Men who have sex with other men are at high risk of contracting HIV and developing AIDS. Women who have sex with other women could only contract HIV if there is exchange of bodily fluids.
